from $50.00

The Bumble Bee is back and this time they brought a friend!

Set of 3 - $50
Set of 4 - $65 (includes mini bumble bee jasper)

This set pretty well designed itself. What else was I going to do with the gorgeous Bumble Bee Jasper?

(Please note wrist picture features old style butterfly joiner bead, that has now been replaced with new hive style bead.)

Designing this set was a joy. A homage to the hard working bumble bees and honey bees that pollinate our gardens and our world! It also gave me a chance to chat to my husband (who studied Volcanology) about where these stones actually come from.

Found in the volcanoes of Australia and Indonesia, Bumble Bee Jasper is formed from volcanic matter combined with various different sedimentary rocks. This unique Jasper is considered to be the natural birthstone of anyone born during the beginning of summer and the yellow colour brings with it the promise of great first beginnings and high optimism. The crystals fire energy is linked to abundance and both the Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras. It is said to help you welcome new opportunities, accepting change new surroundings and increasing self-esteem whilst making decisions without relying on emotions. Bumble Bee Jasper is said to help you keep a positive disposition and upbeat during the daily stresses of life.

Lava Stone as the name would suggest is formed from effusive volcanoes. It is a grounding stone that strengthens one's connection to Mother Earth. It gives us strength and courage, allowing us stability through times of change. It provides guidance and understanding in situations where we may need to "bounce back". A calming stone, it is very useful in dissipating anger.

Golden Obsidian is also linked with volcanoes. Gas bubbles form in the obsidian flow and create a beautiful golden sheen. This beautiful golden stone is linked with the third chakra (Solar Plexus) and is said to help clear negative blocks from your past, enabling you to clarify your motivations and express your “gifts” which in turn may make it easier to embrace your own personal purpose in the world. It is a creative and inspiring stone that helps with empowerment, purification and purpose.

Bracelet Sizing

I recommend you select a size that is 1-1.5cm larger than your actual wrist size to allow a little movement. As these bracelets are elasticised it is not recommended that you wear them taut as it strains the elastic and may be uncomfortable on your wrist, nor too loose that it will catch on things.

Mala Sizing

Wristocracy Mala are strung from 108 x 8mm beads unless otherwise stated. They can be finished with your choice of tassel, crystal piece (yours or ours with drilling an extra cost if needed). Mala can also be finished infinity style as in the rainbow style.

Caring for your Wristocracy:

Like with all my jewellery I do recommend you take bracelets off before entering water. Frequent exposure to water and cologne can damage the beads.

Some gemstones are water or photosensitive.  This means long periods of water or sun exposure may erode or fade the stone - so it is best to keep this in mind when wearing or storing the jewellery.

Safety

Jewellery is intended for adult wear only. Please keep beads away from animals and small children and ingestion may cause harm.

Amber, Amethyst, Ametrine, Apatite, Azurite, Bumble Bee Jasper, Cinnibar, Coral, Dioptase, Freshwater Pearls, Jet, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Nephrite, Pearl (natural), Pyrite, Quartz (all), Serpentine and Shattuckite are all stones that may pose poisoning risk if ingested

If you want more information on your stones check out Wristocropedia (subscribers only)

Most minerals are safe to wear or handle normally, however if the polish on your gemstone starts to breakdown you need to consider replacing the stones.

None should be ingested, so please keep away from small children and animals. For more information on this please check out the International Gem Society

If your bracelet or necklace breaks, collect all the stones and put them in a safe place and contact the maker to remake (if possible). I will remake my pieces only. Please note there is a small charge for re-making and if extra beads are required I may charge a little bit for those also.

Can’t find your size?

Sizes outside the standard ones listed are available on request - please feel free to message me. Please note that bracelets above 21cm may cost a little extra (approx + 15%) due to the extra cost of beads used.
