Larimar and Apatite (Twin Set) with sterling silver

from $58.00

This set is strung from Larimar, Apatite and sterling silver.

Larimar (Pectolite) is one of the rarest stones I hold in stock. It is found only in a mountainous region of the Dominican Republic. It is sometimes called the Atlantis Stone because of its ocean-like qualities. It is a serene crystal that enlightens, harmonises and heals, promoting relaxation and calm.  It helps dissolve emotional barriers and release stress. It is said to stimulate heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras. It is connected with water, the element that rules our emotions and helps with communication.  It is said to draw in your soulmate. It also represents peace and clarity, radiating healing and loving energy. Because Larimar is found exclusively in the Dominican Republic it is quite an expensive and sought after stone. It is associated with the zodiac sign of Leo.

Apatite is a motivational stone that promotes independence and good communication. It is thought to help clear away confusion and negativity and may also help with concentration, insight, improved memory and creative problem solving.  Apatite is also said to support passion, bring balance to the physical, mental and spirtual body. Apatite is linked to the zodiac Gemini. Varieties include Pale Blue, Pacific Blue, Green and Yellow.

Both Larimar and Apatite are said to have wonderful healing properties that include helping with communication, enlightenment, healing and repelling negativity.

Each set will be accompanied the pictured stone property card. Like with all my natural stone sets no two sets will exactly identical - each will have unique colourations and markings that will depend on the batch, but that is what makes them so special and I will do my best to create something gorgeous for you. Please note the larger Larimar can vary in size between 5-6mm - depending on supplies at hand. Please feel free to check with me first before ordering.

Sizing

I recommend you select a size that is 1-1.5cm larger than your actual wrist size to allow a little movement. As these bracelets are elasticised it is not recommended that you wear them taut as it strains the elastic and may be uncomfortable on your wrist, nor too loose that it will catch on things.

Caring for your Wristocracy:

Like with all my jewellery I do recommend you take bracelets off before entering water. Frequent exposure to water and cologne can damage the beads.

Some gemstones are water or photosensitive.  This means long periods of water or sun exposure may erode or fade the stone - so it is best to keep this in mind when wearing or storing the jewellery.

Safety

Bracelets are intended for adult wear only. Please keep beads away from animals and small children and ingestion may cause harm.

Gemstones are beautiful to look at, but make no mistake - they should never be ingested. If your bracelet or necklace breaks, collect all the stones and put them in a safe place and contact the maker to remake (if possible). I will remake my pieces only. Please note there is a small charge for re-making and if extra beads are required I may charge a little bit for those also.

Most minerals are safe to wear or handle normally, however if the polish on your gemstone starts to breakdown you need to consider replacing the stones.

Sizes outside the standard ones listed are available on request - please feel free to message me. Please note that bracelets above 21cm may cost a little extra (approx + 15%) due to the extra cost of beads used.
