I've named this beautiful sparkly bracelet featuring stunning irregular cut cubes, the “Myth” bracelet. I love the light airiness and gentleness of the colours and the link they all have to ancient myths so I couldn't resist having a little fun with it!
The bracelet itself has a very ethereal feel to it and the cut of the stones only add to that - it actually makes the bracelet feel that much more precious to me. I do hope you like it - here is a little bit about the stones.
Labradorite is sometimes referred to as the “Stone of the Northern Lights” because of the legend associated with its discovery along the coast of Labrador in Canada.
In ancient folk lore, Labradorite was said to have the Aurora Borealis trapped inside of it until the day an Inuit warrior came and struck the rock with his spear to free them. This was said to have released them into the sky, the display we now commonly refer to as the Northern Lights
Labradorite is thought to heal and bring good mental health and be useful through change, offering the wearer balance and protection and strong intuition. Labradorite is also said to deliver inner peace and tranquillity.
In the folklore of the ancient Greeks and Romans, Aquamarine was known as the sacred jewel of Poseidon/Neptune as they believed it had had the power to quell stormy waters and protect seafarers from danger.
Aquamarine is sometimes thought to be a talisman of good luck. It represents happiness, hope and everlasting youth and is a stone of courage, helping to reduce stress and calm the mind.
Lavender Amethyst’s name is derived from the Ancient Greek word Amethystos, that means ”not drunk”. The ancient Greeks believed you could drink all night and remain sober if you had an amethyst in your mouth . (I do not recommend this.) In Christianity the colours represent the purity of spirit.
Amethyst is said to promote peace and ease stress. It inspires wisdom through dreams and intuition and heighten awareness.
The Myth bracelet works well alone or can be combined with other sets. It works well with the Kyanite, Tanzanite, Moonstone and Aquamarine bracelet which has its own listing. (See photo 4 & 5)
The Myth Bracelet will be accompanied by property meaning cards.
Like all Wristocracy bracelets the Myth bracelet is strung on a strong, durable elastic that will last well.
I recommend you select a size that is 1cm larger than your actual wrist size to allow a little movement. As these bracelets are elasticised it is not recommended that you wear them taut as it strains the elastic and may be uncomfortable on your wrist. I also recommend that for greater longevity, remove them prior to entering water

When measuring for bracelets it is preferable to use a dressmakers tape, however if one is not available you can use a piece of paper, mark the meeting point with pencil or a small tear and then measure the length with a standard ruler.
It is probably best to measure your wrist at its broadest, particularly if you are going to be wearing multiple bracelets. This measurement is your wrist size – not your bracelet size – allowance will need to be made for the bead sizes and for your preferred fit.
Once you know the actual wrist size you then decide how you would like the bracelet to fit... do you like to wear yor bracelets tight or loose. You also need to take into account the size of the beads in the bracelet you are ordering. If t
Like to wear something unique to you? I am always happy to make customised orders. Have you seen a bracelet that you like, but you want it in a different colour or with a different joiner? Please let me know! I enjoy making things a little different.
For longevity of your bracelet(s) I advise that you avoid getting it wet as this may result in a loss of colour coating to the beads over time. I also suggest that you avoid wearing your bracelets whilst doing activities that involve heavy perspiration. I select high quality beads, but they are not indestructible so please treat them gently. Some of the crystal elements may contain lead so please keep them away from children or pets. I use strong thread and the know is well concealed and hidden, but like most things, if treated roughly, your bracelet may break. I advise you to roll it gently over your hand when putting it on and taking it off. Tightly strung beads may hug the thread, gently readjust to conceal the cord again.
Wristocracy jewellery will arrive in a small fabric bag. I will happily gift wrap on request.
