This set pretty well designed itself. What else was I going to do with the gorgeous Bumble Bee Jasper?
Designing this set was a joy. A homage to the hard working bumble bees and honey bees that pollinate our gardens and our world! It also gave me a chance to chat to my husband (who studied Volcanology) about where these stones actually come from.
Found in the volcanoes of Australia and Indonesia, Bumble Bee Jasper is formed from volcanic matter combined with various different sedimentary rocks. This unique Jasper is considered to be the natural birthstone of anyone born during the beginning of summer and the yellow colour brings with it the promise of great first beginnings and high optimism. The crystals fire energy is linked to abundance and both the Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras. It is said to help you welcome new opportunities, accepting change new surroundings and increasing self-esteem whilst making decisions without relying on emotions. Bumble Bee Jasper is said to help you keep a positive disposition and upbeat during the daily stresses of life.
Lava Stone as the name would suggest is formed from effusive volcanoes. It is a grounding stone that strengthens one's connection to Mother Earth. It gives us strength and courage, allowing us stability through times of change. It provides guidance and understanding in situations where we may need to "bounce back". A calming stone, it is very useful in dissipating anger.
Golden Obsidian is also linked with volcanoes. Gas bubbles form in the obsidian flow and create a beautiful golden sheen. This beautiful golden stone is linked with the third chakra (Solar Plexus) and is said to help clear negative blocks from your past, enabling you to clarify your motivations and express your “gifts” which in turn may make it easier to embrace your own personal purpose in the world. It is a creative and inspiring stone that helps with empowerment, purification and purpose.
Ideas on how to stack this set: You can stack this bracelet really well with any gold or gunmetal bracelets, whether it be keepsake jewellery, Swarovski crystal or even other black stone bracelets. I've included some ideas in Picture 3 and 6. If you're loving the Autumn tones, like in Picture 3 try adding in Hessonite, Amber or even some more Bumble Bee Jasper. Another option is Yellow Opal, (Picture 5) if you want to really play up the yellow. I also have Yellow Opal in a few other different cuts. If you'd like a price on any of these please feel free to message me :) I have golden obsidian in a larger bead as well.
I recommend you select a size that is 1cm - 1.5cm larger than your actual wrist size to allow a little movement. As these bracelets are elasticized it is not recommended that you wear them taut as it strains the elastic and may be uncomfortable on your wrist.
I am happy to ship anywhere in the world, however will need to get a custom quote from NZ Post.
Sizes outside the standard ones listed are available on request, please feel free to message me!
*****For Rural Shipping NZ - Please add Rural Upgrade (separate listing)*****
IMPORTANT: Despite the cute little bumble bees this set features, please note it is not a set appropriate for children. Like with all of my bracelets I do recommend you take them off before entering water as many stones and metals prefer to stay dry. Frequent exposure to water can damage the stone which is not ideal. Please ensure that the bracelets are kept away from small children and animals as beads should not be ingested.

When measuring for bracelets it is preferable to use a dressmakers tape, however if one is not available you can use a piece of paper, mark the meeting point with pencil or a small tear and then measure the length with a standard ruler.
It is probably best to measure your wrist at its broadest, particularly if you are going to be wearing multiple bracelets. This measurement is your wrist size – not your bracelet size – allowance will need to be made for the bead sizes and for your preferred fit.
Once you know the actual wrist size you then decide how you would like the bracelet to fit... do you like to wear yor bracelets tight or loose. You also need to take into account the size of the beads in the bracelet you are ordering. If t
Like to wear something unique to you? I am always happy to make customised orders. Have you seen a bracelet that you like, but you want it in a different colour or with a different joiner? Please let me know! I enjoy making things a little different.
For longevity of your bracelet(s) I advise that you avoid getting it wet as this may result in a loss of colour coating to the beads over time. I also suggest that you avoid wearing your bracelets whilst doing activities that involve heavy perspiration. I select high quality beads, but they are not indestructible so please treat them gently. Some of the crystal elements may contain lead so please keep them away from children or pets. I use strong thread and the know is well concealed and hidden, but like most things, if treated roughly, your bracelet may break. I advise you to roll it gently over your hand when putting it on and taking it off. Tightly strung beads may hug the thread, gently readjust to conceal the cord again.
Wristocracy jewellery will arrive in a small fabric bag. I will happily gift wrap on request.
